Mission
 

The purposes of the Tobyhanna Creek/Tunkhannock Creek Watershed Association shall be to promote and preserve the water quality and the environment of the Tobyhanna Creek and Tunkhannock Creek watershed including surrounding areas of special concern and improve the water quality of the associated creeks and tributaries, promote the natural bounties thereof, provide educational materials on the benefits of and methods to achieve protection and preservation of the natural integrity of the watershed, educate the general public and interested parties in the value of stress controls and land activities, promote and coordinate the conservation of natural resources of the watershed, and protect and preserve terrestrial and aquatic life in the watershed.

Larry Gould - President

Professional Background: BS in Architecture, Consultant, Businessman with over 26 years experience in domestic and international business ventures. President of Lake Harmony Estates Property Owners Association (LHEPOA), Director of Publicity for Kidder Township Environmental Advisory Council (KTEAC).
Community Activities/Interests: Active in environmental preservation efforts, storm water management initiatives and wildlife preservation through education.
 

 

William Nathan - Vice President

Professional Background: Ph.D in mathematics; Temple University mathematics professor since 1968; former research oceanographer; former head of Temple's Honors Program; former Associate Dean of Temple's College of Arts & Sciences; former president of Temple faculty.
Community Activities/Interests: Member, Lake Naomi Club Board of Governors; member, Timber Trails Community Association Board of Directors; chair, Lake Naomi Club Lakes Preservation Committee. Loves gardening, kayaking, hiking, golf.

Professional Background: Professional Community Association Manager for 20 years holding designations of CMCA, AMS, and PCAM through the Community Associations Institute. General Manager of R W Business Services providing financial and management services to small scale organizations.
Community Activities/Interests: Secretary/Treasurer of TC/TCWA, member of the Pocono Council of the Community Associations Institute, and General Manager of several property owner associations in the Pocono area, and a strong advocate of storm water management. Enjoy reading, knitting, crocheting, and bird/wildlife watching.
 

 

Robert Eddy

Professional Background: Retired with 47 years in graphics art industry - 16 years as owner of own business, photoplate making business to printing industry; 15 years as production coordinator for Kappa Publishing Co.
Community Activities/Interests: Board member - Arrowhead Lake Community Association; 5 years as chairperson of Environmental Resources Management Committee; avid fly fisherman and Director of Brodhead Chapter of Trout Unlimited; volunteer for TC/TCWA's water quality monitoring program. Member of The Stretch Fishing Club. Member of North Pocono C.A.R.E. watershed group.
 

 

Allen Rodriguez

Professional Background: Retired engineering manager of Honeywell Corp’s Industrial Division with 33 years experience in industrial process controls. Built new engineering departments as needed and provided international program coordination. BSMS/BSEE ‘59/’60 and BS Computer Science ’91.
Community Activities/Interests: Avid amateur astronomer with an observatory in Florida for the winter months, racing small sailboats, hiking, kayaking and other outside activities throughout the year. Present focus on
Lake Preservation. Volunteer stream monitor for TC/TCWA, Archivist for The Historical Association of Tobyhanna Township and active in several Lake Naomi Club community committees. 
 

 

Thomas Eisler

Professional Background: BS in Business Administration from LaSalle College. Retired with 25 years experience in material controls and procurement with a major Philadelphia utility company.
Community Activities/Interests: Served on Arrowhead Board of Directors and chaired several committees . Very interested in the protection of our watershed and the work of North Pocono C.A.R.E and the TC/TC watersheds.
